Bio Since 1982, Richard, the company's founder and CEO, has pioneered industry solutions that have maximized the potential of the fax machine, the cell phone, and now, the Internet. As one of the first companies to offer online processing for regional deliveries, DeliveryOptions was recognized by FedEx as a company that developed effective and dynamic shipping technology. In the winter of 2001, Richard began developing and applying universal, online technology that could be used to eliminate restrictions in disparate shipper profiles. Late in 2001 DeliveryOptions launched it’s first online FedEx interface that offered consolidated PDF billing (all FedEx services on one electronic invoice), automated e-mail notification for late and potentially free shipments (the process is still manual for non-DeliveryOptions interface users), and unmatched discounts based solely on automation (versus discounts based on shipping volume). The first release of the FedEx interface was a complete and immediate success.
